How Mailzap works
Sign in with Google
Open Mailzap from your browser toolbar and connect your Gmail account with a single click.
Scan your inbox
Mailzap groups every message by sender, entirely on your device, so you see who is filling up your inbox.
Delete, unsubscribe, or block
Pick a sender and choose an action. Nothing runs until you confirm it.

Troubleshooting
Sign-in keeps failing or looping
Open chrome://extensions, find Mailzap, and click Remove, then reinstall from the Chrome Web Store. This clears any corrupted OAuth token cache.
"Access blocked" or permission error from Google
Visit Google Account Permissions, remove Mailzap from the list, then reconnect from the extension so Google reissues fresh scopes.
A blocked sender still reaches my inbox
Check Gmail Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses to confirm the filter was created. Filters only apply to mail received after the filter exists, not messages already delivered.
Extension icon shows signed out unexpectedly
OAuth tokens expire after 1 hour by design. This is expected behavior, just click the icon again to reauthenticate silently.
Still stuck?
Open an issue on GitHub with a description of what happened and, if possible, a screenshot. For anything account-specific, email is faster.
